Media Voices for Children
An online portal for content related to children’s rights.
the project
Coming out of the experience of working with Galen Films on the production of a site for their film “Stolen Childhoods” then working with them again in Kenya on the filming of “Rescuing Emmanuel”, we agreed that what was needed was an all encompassing platform to cover the may aspects of children’s rights that had been covered by the two films.
Working closely with Galen Films, we collectively came up with the concept of Media Voices for Children, an online portal where we could share film, photography stories and documents.
our approach
Using WordPress as a Content Management System, we built a portal that both explained the company’s initiatives and allowed for easy to manage video, photo and document libraries for content sharing with partners.
We support our work through toolbox – a series of digital “magazines” that provide relevant, shareable content that guides and re-inforces our work.
