To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Montreal Protocol, the organisation wanted to create an interactive “documentary” covering the organisation’s history and achievements. The problem was that key players to be interviewed were spread across the globe.
It was decided to take advantage of an upcoming conference on climate issues in Montreal, Canada which most leaders would be attending as an opportunity to get them on tape. Across multiple days and working around their crowded schedules, world leaders were brought into a greenscreen studio created onsite and interviewed in English, French and Chinese about their involvement with the protocol.
The result was a 30 minute interactive piece that both told the story, but also acted as a media library from which content specific video could be downloaded and re-purposed.
